Introduction
A leading construction management consultancy is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead high-complexity on-site delivery across the US. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who can oversee multiple workstreams, unblock critical issues, and keep major project milestones on track.
Role Responsibilities
The Senior Construction Manager will lead execution across multiple scopes, coordinating teams, trade partners, and stakeholders through demanding construction and commissioning phases. The role requires strong leadership, technical judgement, and a calm approach to high-pressure delivery.
Lead execution across structural, envelope, MEP, and commissioning workstreams
Manage multiple project managers and construction managers where required
Own high-risk systems such as MV distribution, UPS, generators, chillers, CRAH units, cooling towers, BMS, and EPMS
Resolve major schedule conflicts and critical-path issues
Oversee factory witness testing and equipment readiness
Drive commissioning readiness for major systems and support turnover planning
Experience Requirements
10+ years of construction management experience, ideally on complex or mission-critical projects
Proven ability to lead multiple workstreams and senior delivery teams
Strong command of schedule recovery, risk management, and commissioning coordination
Experience with high-risk MEP systems and technical handover processes
Data centre or similarly complex infrastructure experience is highly preferred
Education Requirements
BSc, BTech, or similar qualification in the built environment preferred
Equivalent practical experience and a strong delivery track record will be considered
